OUR STORY
Our Story: Tradition, Passion, and Excellence
The Heart of Sicilian Winemaking
In the sun-soaked hills of Sicily, Tenute Dello Jato was founded on the rich tradition of family winemaking. Passed down from father to son, our journey began with Francesco, who has nurtured his passion for growing grapes since the age of 14. Together with his lovely wife Antonella, who manages the business with unwavering dedication, they have built a legacy rooted in love, craftsmanship, and authenticity.
A Legacy in the Heart of Sicily
Nestled in Contrada Percianotta, Agro di Monreale, our vineyard is surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Monreale’s countryside. This location, rich in history, natural splendor, and volcanic soil, provides the perfect terroir for crafting wines that reflect the soul of Sicily. The mineral richness of the volcanic soil enhances the complexity and unique flavor profile of our wines, making them highly sought after by USA buyers.

Throughout the year, Tenute Dello Jato welcomes visitors from all over the world to experience the magic of Sicilian winemaking. From private events to corporate gatherings, our wines take center stage in creating unforgettable moments. Guests are invited to explore our winery through educational tours, learning about the intricate process of crafting fine wines while savoring the finest flavors Sicily has to offer.
